Motorcyclist Fatally Struck in Deadly Accident near 67th Avenue


GLENDALE, AZ (October 10, 2022) – Late Sunday night, police responded to reports of a fatal motorcycle collision on Loop 101.




The incident happened on October 2nd near 67th Avenue involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.




According to police, the incident occurred in the westbound lanes when a motorcyclist was struck by a passing vehicle for unknown reasons.




Initial reports stated that the rider was ejected onto the roadway first, then an unknown vehicle struck them. Responding medical professionals pronounced the rider dead at the scene.




Furthermore, the DPS blocked the freeway to allow officers to conduct preliminary duties but it has reopened since.




The cause of the crash was not yet determined as further investigations are still underway.
