Robert Schneider Killed in Motorcycle Crash on Flamingo Road [Las Vegas, NV]


29-Year-Old Motorcyclist Struck by Box Truck near Decatur Boulevard

LAS VEGAS, NV (September 22, 2022) – Monday morning, Robert Schneider was killed following a box truck collision.

The incident happened on September 19th at around 11:24 a.m. in the area of Flamingo Road near Decatur Boulevard, involving a white box truck and a motorcycle.

Police have identified the motorcyclist as 29-year-old Robert Schneider. Initial report stated that Schneider was heading westbound when the box truck failed to yield and caused a collision.

Furthermore, Schneider suffered major injuries and was transported to University Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.

Also, the westbound lanes of Flamingo Road between Decatur and Edmond Street were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.

Meanwhile, the driver of the truck stayed at the scene to cooperate with the officers and showed no signs of being impaired.
