Motorcycle-Truck Collision on Road 16 Left 17-Year-Old Man Dead
MADERA COUNTY, CA (October 11, 2022) – Early Wednesday night, a teenager died following a crash on Avenue 20 and Road 16.
The incident happened on October 5th, at around 6:18 p.m., involving a motorcycle and a truck.
According to police, the 17-year-old motorcyclist failed to yield at the intersection and collided with the truck. As a result of the collision, the motorcyclist was ejected from his vehicle. He sustained serious injuries.
Emergency crews arrived shortly after to render aid. However, despite wearing a helmet, the rider died at the scene.
Meanwhile, responding officers ruled out alcohol or drugs as factors in the crash. At this time, the events leading up to the crash on Avenue 20 have not yet been determined.
