Two Fatalities after a Big-Rig Crash on Interstate 5
WOODLAND, CA (July 19, 2022) – Friday morning, police responded to a crash that killed Terry Winberry and Kenny Winberry.
The incident happened on July 15th, at around 6:48 a.m., on Interstate 5, south of County Road 96.
According to reports, Terry Winberry was driving a 2004 Dodge, with his brother, Kenny Winberry, as a passenger. They were traveling on Interstate 5 when the Dodge collided with a big-rig, leaving them both with critical injuries.
First responders at the scene pronounced both men dead at the scene. The driver of the big-rig was unhurt.
Several lanes of the highway were closed for a brief time so officials could clean up and perform preliminary duties.
At this time, officers believe that drugs and alcohol were not a factor in the crash. However, an active investigation into the cause of the accident is still underway.
