59-Year-Old Pedestrian Died in Crash near First Street

FRESNO, CA (July 22, 2022) – Saturday night, officers were dispatched to a pedestrian crash that claimed the life of Theodore Ceja.

The incident happened on July 16th, just before midnight, near the intersection of Belmont Avenue and First Street.

Following the collision, officers arrived at the scene and found Ceja unresponsive on the roadway. The driver that struck him fled the scene.
