Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash near North River Road
BONSALL, CA (August 17, 2022) – Sunday, a three-car collision on State Route 76 left three injured and spilled chemicals on the road.
The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. along State Route 76 at the intersection of North River Road.
According to reports, a Chevrolet Astro van struck the back of a Ford F-150, which then rear-ended the car in front of it. Due to the impact of the collision, the Ford spilled one gallon of muriatic acid and one gallon of hydrochloric acid that it was transporting. Three people sustained injuries in the crash.
Emergency and hazmat crews arrived shortly after to clean up the spill and keep it from contaminating waterways.
Paramedics then transported one person to the hospital with minor injuries, while two other injured people refused medical attention.
