Motorcyclist Dead in Hit-and-Run Collision near Northern Durango
LAS VEGAS, NV (November 7, 2022) – Wednesday night, Tony Tomas died following a hit-and-run crash on the 215 Freeway.
The crash happened around 9:00 p.m., near the Durango off-ramp. Officials responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision.
According to reports, a red Yamaha motorcycle was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed, approaching the Durango off-ramp, when it crashed into the back of a white utility van that was traveling in the same direction in front of the motorcycle.
As a result, the collision caused the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle. Afterward, 27-year-old Tony Tomas of Las Vegas was declared dead at the scene.
