32-Year-Old Bicyclist Killed in Vehicle Accident near Buckeye Road
PHOENIX, AZ (September 8, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a crash near 63 Avenue that claimed the life of Troy Rosales.
The accident happened at around 5:00 a.m., near the intersection of 63rd Avenue and Buckeye Road.
According to reports, Rosales was riding his bicycle in the area when he was struck by a vehicle traveling along Buckeye Road. The impact of the collision caused Rosales to sustain critical injuries.
When emergency crews arrived at the site of the crash, they rendered first aid. However, despite life-saving efforts, medics pronounced 32-year-old Troy Rosales dead at the scene.
Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and was tested for impairment but police had found no signs.
Officials closed down Buckeye Road for several hours to allow officers to investigate.
