The incident happened on October 15th, at around 1:49 a.m., involving a vehicle occupied by four young adults. According to reports, the vehicle, for reasons currently under investigation crashed, leaving the occupants with injuries. Shortly after, officers arrived at the site of the collision and declared a 20-year-old woman and an 18-year-old man dead at the scene. Meanwhile, medics treated a 19-year-old woman at the incident and airlifted an 18-year-old man to North Memorial Hospital for treatment. Officials then closed down the area surrounding the crash to perform cleanup and preliminary duties. At this time, no further details regarding the crash at Pokegama Lake Road are available.
