Helicopter Accident on Willow Avenue near Garrett Avenue Seriously Injured Two
FRESNO, CA (October 7, 2022) – Saturday morning, two people were injured after a helicopter crash on Willow Avenue.
The incident happened at around 10:00 a.m. near Willow and Garrett Avenues.
According to reports, a helicopter crashed in a residential neighborhood, striking a house and causing minor damage to the exterior. It also struck a palm tree before coming to rest on the roof.
The impact of the collision left the occupants of the helicopter with minor injuries.
Emergency crews arrived at the site of the accident and transported the two victims to Community Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
At this time, the identities of those involved in the crash have not been made public.
Authorities temporarily shut down the surrounding area to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
