Two Seriously Hurt after Plane Crash near US Route 50 in Lyon County
SILVER SPRINGS, NV (November 3, 2022) – Monday afternoon, two people sustained injuries in a plane crash in Lyon County.
The incident happened at around 3:30 p.m., in the area along US Route 50.
According to reports, an instructor and a student were flying a plane at slow speeds when they crashed. The occupants sustained minor injuries and the plane sustained damage.
When first responders arrived to the site of the collision, they transported both the student and the instructor to a local hospital for treatment. At this time, officials have not released the identities of either person.
Meanwhile, the cause of the crash has not yet been identified and further investigation is ongoing.
