Highway 92 Big-Rig Collision Left One Fatality

FOSTER CITY, CA (August 9, 2022) – A big-rig crash on Highway 92 in Foster City claimed the lives of two people, police said Friday morning.

According to the CHP, the accident happened around 9:45 a.m., just east of Foster City Boulevard on the Peninsula side of the bridge.

In total, there were five vehicles involved in the crash; including a big-rig and a sedan.

Unfortunately, two of the involved parties from the accident died at the scene, while multiple others sustained minor injuries.

Officials have not released the identity of any the involved individuals at this time.

Moreover, all lanes of the eastbound Highway 92 were temporarily shutdown to allow for cleanup and preliminary duties.
