3-Year-Old Toddler Killed in Traffic Collision North Puma Road

TUCSON, AZ (November 15, 2022) – Sunday night, Tyler Marcum was arrested following a DUI collision that killed a 3-year-old child.

The incident happened on November 6th, at around 7:00 p.m., in the area of West El Tiro Road and North Puma Road.

According to reports, a Nissan Altima traveling northbound attempted to go westbound when a Hyundai Sonata traveling east collided with the Nissan.

The Nissan had three occupants, two of which were children. A 3-year-old boy suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital where he later died. The other child was also transported to a hospital where he is expected to survive. Meanwhile, the driver of the Hyundai was identified as 22-year-old Marcum.

Tyler Marcum showed signs of impairment and he was taken into custody with DUI charges and aggravated assault. Further investigation is still underway.
