Big Rig Accident near Favretto Avenue Kills Woman in Tent
REDDING, CA (November 22, 2022) – Saturday evening, a big rig accident on State Street claimed the life of a woman.
The incident happened on November 19th, at around 8:19 p.m., west of Favretto Avenue.
According to reports, a woman was in her tent on State Street when a semi-truck collided with the tent. Upon arrival, officers located a woman inside a tent under the big rig truck. Due to the extent of her injuries, medics pronounced the woman dead at the scene.
At this time, her identity remains undisclosed to the public pending notification from her next of kin.
Meanwhile, the 62-year-old male truck driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
