Two-Vehicle Crash on Lake Murray Neighborhood Kills 85-Year-Old WomanSAN DIEGO, CA (November 22, 2022) – Friday evening, a head-on crash at Mission Gorge Road claimed the life of a woman. The incident happened on November 18th, at around 5:21 p.m., on the 9000 block of Mission Gorge. The collision involved a 2018 Toyota Corolla and a 2021 Toyota Venza. According to reports, the 2021 Toyota Venza, occupied by a 70-year-old woman collided with a 2018 Toyota Corolla, occupied by an 85-year-old woman. The collision left both women with injuries. Responding medical units transported both drivers to an area hospital for treatment. Later at the hospital, medics pronounced the 85-year-old Corolla driver dead, due to the extent of her condition. At this time, officials have not released her identity nor the identity of the other involved driver.
