Traffic Accident on Bernard Street Left Sleeping Woman Dead
BAKERSFIELD, CA (July 21, 2022) – Early Tuesday morning, a hit-and-run at Jefferson Park claimed the life of a sleeping woman.
The incident happened on July 12th, at around 6:41 a.m. at Jefferson Park on Bernard Street.
According to police, two people riding in a white mid-2000s Ford F-150 drove through a park. There, they struck and killed a 47-year-old transient woman on the grass where she was sleeping. At this time, the victim’s identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
