Driver Arrested Following Solo-Car Crash on 304th Street East
ROY, WA (November 28, 2022) – Saturday, a woman was arrested following a solo-car crash on 304th Street East that killed another woman.
The incident happened on November 26th, at 12:19 a.m., in the 1200 block of 304th Street East. According to reports, a vehicle, occupied by two women, was traveling westbound on 304th Street East. For reasons currently unknown, the vehicle veered off the road and collided with two trees. The impact of the collision ejected the passenger from the car and severely injured the driver.
First responders arrived at the site of the collision shortly after and extricated the driver from the wreck. Medics then transported the woman to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Meanwhile, officials at the scene declared the passenger, identified as a 48-year-old woman, dead at the scene.
Police later arrested the 43-year-old driver of the involved vehicle on charges of vehicular homicide.
