Construction Worker Injured by Sign in Accident on State Route 125 near Navajo Road
SAN DIEGO, CA (September 21, 2022) – Tuesday night, one construction worker was injured following an accident on State Route 125.
The incident happened on September 13th, at around 11:00 p.m., near the area of Navajo Road.
According to police, an SUV struck an arrow sign and struck an arrow sign on State Route 125. The impact caused the sign to strike a construction worker on the job nearby. Despite his attempts to avoid the sign, the crash left the worker with serious injuries.
Emergency crews arrived shortly after and transported the injured worker to a local hospital for treatment of his wounds.
At this time, no further information is available about the collision. However, investigators are looking into whether or not DUI was a factor in the crash.
